Material Donations

The Des Moines Pride Center is committed to acquiring, preserving, and disseminating materials that embody the culture and history of gay men, lesbians, bisexuals, and transgender people.

Practicums and Internships

The Des Moines Pride Center aims to build and maintain connection within the community, one way to do so is through educational growth and development through fostering professional experience with various educational programs.

Volunteering

The Des Moines Pride Center relies on volunteers to help fulfill its mission and is always looking for individuals who wish to donate their time and talent to the library. Volunteers primarily provide general library and archives support by helping to process and record donations and collection holdings, assist patrons in the use of the library, and helping with exhibits.
