Book Space with the Center
Benefits of the Pride Center being located within the Mickle Center, is that the Pride Center has the ability to reserve spaces within the community center. The Pride Center sees the value in having a communal space to host LGBTQIA+ events which also prioritizes safety and secure.
If you are interested in booking a space or getting a tour of the facility, follow the steps below:
Steps to book a room
1. Complete application form (pdf)
Send us an email with your completed room request application to:
desmoinespridecenter.board@gmail.com.
Please note: this is a request and not a guarantee of the space. Based on availability and out
discretion, we will send you room booking details including requested rooms(s), dates, and
equipment.
2. Optional: Event Promotion
Once your event is confirmed, we will send you information on how to promote your event on our
online calendar.

Application Time Frame
Due to time frame and availabilty of rooms it is requested that room reservation applications be submitted at least 14 days in prior to the event. First come, first confirmed. Booking rooms for reoccurring events may be made; however, must be made three months in advance.
