Meredith Murphy 

Meredith is a Kansas City native who has lived in Des Moines with her wife and cat for four years now. An Events Manager and Talent Development professional by trade, she is very passionate about using creativity to connect with others. She met Rick at a Des Moines Pride Center booth at a conference and the rest is history! Meredith is also Co-Founder and president of Iowa Pride Ensembles, a local community LGBTQ+ performance organization founded in 2025. As a part of the DMPC board, she loves spending time in the library, diving into the archives, and connecting with fellow board members to get form roots in the community.
