Taylor Thompson

Taylor (he/him), is a graduate of Truman State University and the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, has called Des Moines home for three years. An attorney by trade, Taylor also serves as an adjunct professor at Truman State University, where he teaches Communication and First Amendment law. 

 

Prior to moving to Des Moines, Taylor was a member of the Kansas City community for seven years.  During that time he was Vice President of the Greater Kansas City LGBTQ Bar Association. He also did fundraising for diversity initiatives at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, as well as fundraising for the KC Care Center. 

 

In his personal life, Taylor is an avid gaymer, and a Guardian Druid main on World of Warcraft. He loves house and disco music, traveling, working out, and he has two dogs and a cat.
