Ryan Buren

Ryan (he/him) is a Des Moines-based attorney who joined the Des Moines Pride Center Board of Directors in 2025, bringing his legal background to support the organization’s governance and community mission.

Ryan is deeply committed to fostering inclusive, welcoming spaces and is proud to help the Pride Center continue to grow as a vital resource for the Des Moines LGBTQ+ community.

When he’s not doing board work, Ryan is probably elbow-deep in a house project as it relates to restoring his 1910s home in Union Park. He’s an avid CrossFit athlete, tennis enthusiast, and firm believer that a good workout can solve most of life’s problems.
